A love of drawing first drew Jonathan Baker to film. Then came painting and photography. Nowadays, Jonathan is an award winning cinematographer whose work spans across drama, documentary, music videos and commercials.

 

With experience shooting a range of formats, Jonathan recently captured CONTENT IS KING on 35mm film and starring Ed Oxenbould. He won ACS Silver for IF I QUIT NOW and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the South Australian Screen Awards for A STONE'S THROW. 

 

As cinematographer, his work has screened at over 40 festivals, including films in Flickerfest consistently over the past 4 years. 

 

Jonathan’s stint as Steadicam operator saw him work on such celebrated Australian films as TALK TO ME and WYRMWOOD APOCALYPSE.
